So summer, and consequently, my travels are pretty much a wrap at this point, and it seemed only appropriate to show some love for the folks who have been soundtracking both of them. Given the fact that internet isn’t always consistent in the particular corner of the world where I’ve been spending time, this edition is by no means exhaustive of all the great shit out there that’s been dropping. I suppose I can’t ever really say that anyway. But fuck it. Among the highlights here are some particularly sumptuous, groovy ass offerings from some cool ass, artsy women, like the immaculately styled visuals from Azealia and Grimes, and especially the latest from Jessie Ware. Thankfully I finally got around to listening to the album, and the hype is well deserved. Somewhere on the other end of the spectrum, A$AP Ant, Danny Brown and Gunplay came with a fucking heater off the A$AP Mob compilation. Lots of other strange things here too, although that Zebra Katz might take the cake. Happy September folks.
